UGM Japan 2017

Japan, home of high-tech manufacturing, is also home of a lively community of Volume Graphics software users. So it's no coincidence we chose Nagoya as venue for our first User Group Meeting outside Germany. The User Group Meeting Japan (UGMJ) drew people from all over Japan to Nagoya – 115 in total, including our hardware partners Shimadzu, Toshiba, Nikon, Yamato Scientific, YXLON, GE, Tesco, and Hitachi. The one-day event consisted of presentations by users, networking, and the hardware exhibition.

As a guest speaker, Philipp Janello from BMW spoke about the enormous potential of industrial computed tomography and Hiroyuki Suzuki, COO of JMC Corporation, shared his experiences with VGSTUDIO MAX and the accuracy of our software compared to destructive testing.
