Because of our continuing expansion, we are looking for a(n):

Account Manager (Inside Sales)

for our offices in Heidelberg, Germany

Your Tasks:

  • After introductory training, you will take over telephone qualification, consultation, and support of our leads and customers
  • You will independently process sales orders and prepare offers, contracts, licenses, and invoices
  • You will assume additional administrative duties
  • You will support Sales Operations and Sales Analytics in projects and in creating diverse reports, figures, and market and customer analyses
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the database in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Salesforce and can create reports both in the systems and in Microsoft Excel
  • You will work closely with sales representatives, consulting, pre-sales, partner management, marketing, and technical support

Further development opportunities:

  • Be responsible for acquisitions, research, and qualification of new customers via internet, telephone, and video conference—from initial contact to conclusion
  • Assist with events and client appointments or do them on your own (online/on-site)
  • Participate in and represent our company at international trade fairs
  • Develop offer strategies and develop sustainable concepts for customer loyalty

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed business and/or technical studies, commercial and/or technical vocational training, or equivalent qualification
  • Possess work experience in sales and/or customer/partner support in the software industry
  • Experience in the CT or X-ray inspection software industry or hardware, non-destructive testing (NDT) software, metrology, additive manufacturing, CAD, 3D measuring, or production automation technology is desired
  •  Possess excellent team and communication skills combined with pronounced customer and service orientation
  • Demonstrate a high level of reliability, independence, flexibility, and sense of initiative
  •  Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); a strong affinity for IT and experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Salesforce are desired
  • Have an excellent command of German and English
  • Other languages are a plus
