Because of our continuing expansion, we are looking for a(n):

(Key) Account Manager

for our offices in Charlotte, NC.

Your Tasks:

  • Make account plans and generate sales revenues at defined accounts or territories in a consultative-intensive sales environment by pinpointing customer needs and performing product and software demonstrations at customer sites
  • Actively advise our trusted customers and sales partners on all technical and sales issues
  • Guarantee solution-oriented support for demanding customer projects, evaluation inquiries, and feasibility studies
  • Lead technical discussions with end-users to gain an in-depth technical understanding of their NDT (non-destructive testing) and metrology needs; work with R&D, engineering, quality control, and sales departments to create turn-key inspection solutions with our software
  • Make commercial proposals and conduct sales negotiations
  • Perform technical demonstrations of our software based on high-resolution 3D computed tomography as non-destructive inspection technology at trade shows, customer sites, and demonstration centers
  • Inform clients of new products and software solutions as they are announced or released; establish and maintain close contact with customers and prospects
  • Actively participate in marketing and lead generation activities, including manning exhibition stands and presenting at conferences

Your Profile:

  • BS required, MS desirable—material science/ engineering (mechanical)/life sciences or related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • At least 10 years of technical B2B sales experience (desired)
  • Experience with sales for CT or X-ray related inspection software or hardware, NDT software, or hardware in common, metrology/additive/CAD/3D measurement, or production automation technology software; all science topics will be strongly considered
  • Manage our US key account customers; home office is possible with flexibility to travel
  • Have prior experience and success in selling to aerospace/automotive/electronics industry/government/supplier industries and clients as well as already established a network in the manufacturing industry (desired)
  • Have the ability to form long-term personal relationships with customers and to develop a deep technical understanding of the product offerings and process capabilities
  • Possess a strong business acumen, high self-motivation, and a strong, independent work ethic
  • Possess language proficiency: business professional English fluency (required), Spanish (desired)
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet sales quotas and deadlines and manage priorities while maintaining high-quality work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); CRM knowledge is a plus
