The CT USER CONFERENCE SINGAPORE Event Program

1:00 PM SGT:
Keynote (Christof Reinhart, CEO, Volume Graphics)
Join Christof Reinhart, CEO of Volume Graphics, for a keynote speech showcasing current software developments.

1:30 PM SGT:
Insights from the Inside: Material Analyses (Rami Abu-Hamad, Technical Solutions Expert, Volume Graphics)
Learn more about the new porosity/inclusion analysis according to Reference Sheet P 203 of the Federation of German Foundry Industry (BDG), which allows you to perform a 3D evaluation regarding the most critical defect parameters within functional areas of a cast part. After that, we'll introduce the new integrated reporting tool, which makes it easy to create, edit, and view reports as they appear in the final PDF file.

1:55 PM SGT:
Networking Time
Meet our staff and other attendees in our lively networking area for live video chats.

2:25 PM SGT:
Insights from the Inside: Geometry Analyses (Johannes Gromes, Technical Solutions Expert, Volume Graphics)
Learn more about the new possibilities for the simplified creation and adjustment of freeform surfaces and profile tolerances on a CAD model and the creation of datum systems. We will also discuss the topic of datum systems in general. This is followed by the evaluation and visualization of profile tolerances and tolerances in general according to ISO 1101 on the volume.

3:00 PM SGT:
From Design to Reality—Advanced Compensation & “As Manufactured” Part Performance in AM (Johannes Mann,  Manager Global Business Development, Volume Graphics + Mathieu Pérennou, Global Business Development Director, Additive Manufacturing, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence)
Additive manufacturing disrupts the world of design and production. To produce parts first time right, engineers have to consider the full value chain from part specification to the finished product. Therefore, design, design validation, process planning, and manufacturing preparation need to hand over results seamlessly in one common quality description. In their presentation, Mathieu Perennou and Johannes Mann will demonstrate how you can connect Hexagon software tools to optimize the process from part and associated manufacturing process design to simulation and production preparation by utilizing advanced geometry compensation and GD&T metrology on virtual parts, so-called digital twins. Finally, you will learn how real parts can be brought back to the virtual environment to perform an “as-manufactured” performance simulation to ensure the actual part meets the targeted performance criteria.
