Computer Aided Radiology and Surgery
VGL is licensed by original healthcare software manufacturers developing
applications e.g. for image guided surgery.

VGL - Interactive rendering performance
VGL provides interactive performance already on standard PC
platforms due to its most sophisticated algorithms and resource
management. This enables the development of efficient applications
used within real-time environments like image guided surgery
applications. Fast image processing algorithms, e.g. interactive
3D-segmentation features allow surgeons to process their patients
data before using them for online operation navigation tasks.
VGL - Combine real patient data with CAD implant models
VGL provides full 3D graphics integration of CAD models into
patient data like CT scans. CAD models of Implants can be
displayed in direct combination of CT data to enable preoperative
implant planing on the computer screen. In addition VGL allows to
analyze the planed 3D scenario e.g. by measuring distances in
3D. Therefore VGL is the most powerful technology to develop CARS
applications like dental implant planing and online navigation
software.
