VGStudio MAX screen shots. VGStudio is the solution for everybody dealing with voxel data with the need for an inexpensive application software providing advanced volume visualization capabilities. VGStudio uses advanced VGL based ray-tracing to render data as volumes, slices, maximum intensity projections, X-ray or sum-along-ray images. Full control of opacity values enables you to make any object or data value transparent, translucent, or opaque. Arbitrary color mapping allows false color renderings. Slices can be rendered in orthogonal planes or at any arbitrary angle. Once you have your results, save images in one of several image formats and print them in color or grayscale. VGStudio 2.0 can import many files types, including HDF, binary, ASCII, AVS Field, AVS Volume Data, bitmap, JPEG, BMP, PPM, TIFF and DICOM. Once imported, VGStudio 2.0 renders the data as a three-dimensional image that can be manipulated in several ways.
